Preventive Medicine
We always prefer to help you prevent disease rather than treat disease. We personalize and educate patients in nutrition, exercise, optimum weight and relaxation methods. We recommend health screenings and immunizations based on you as an individual.

Disease Management

Cardiovascular disease is still the number one cause of death in the United States.  We work with you to control or reverse diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure.  We place a high priority on natural lifestyle changes as part of your treatment plan, in conjunction with medications if necessary.
Acute Illness

We offer same day appointments with one of our health care providers for acute illness.  We differentiate between viral and bacterial infections and educate the patient about treatment options and whether or not antibiotics are the right choice.

We offer after hours contact with the physician on call for any change in your condition.

Weight Loss

We are a Center for Medical Weight Loss and offer personalized plans to meet your goals.  This may include medications, behavioral changes, exercise and meal replacement options.

Jessica Powers NP is our weight loss specialist and would love to help you on your successful journey.

Women's Health

We offer comprehensive women's health. Our providers cover a range of issues, including immunizations, cardiovascular health, family planning, bone health, and physical fitness. We care for women at every stage in their life, from adolescence  to geriatrics. For many women, our ability to offer care for the whole family in one location is an added bonus.

Dr. Frantz has a special interest in treating the peri or post menopausal woman and is a member of The North American Menopause Society.

Joint Injections

Osteoarthritis is one of the leading causes of disability in the United States. It develops slowly and the pain it causes worsens over time. Although there is no cure for osteoarthritis, there are many treatment options available to help people manage pain and stay active.

In its early stages, arthritis of the knee is treated with nonsurgical methods. Your doctor may recommend

•Changes in activity level

•Weight loss

•Pain relievers, such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen

•Physical therapy

•Corticosteroid or gel injections

Mood Disorders

As Family Medicine physicians and providers we treat a wide array of mood disorders including depression, anxiety, OCD, insomnia, and ADD to name a few.  Here you will find a medical home that is compassionate, caring and non-judgmental.  We'll help you to live the best life you can and to manage your disorder with counseling, nutrition, lifestyle changes and sometimes medication.  We'll also help you with a referral for more intensive treatment if your condition requires it.
